Cordlife Calendar 2013 Photography
There were so many things to do and so little time! How we wish we could live thru the 24hrs and not sleep! Well, the only consolation was that the festive period has brought us much lifted spirit. It was the month of the moon-cake festival! Our office was packed with moon cake boxes of different flavour and varieties from suppliers, friends and even faithful clients! We are blessed!
The morning shoot started off with the setting up of the scene and powering up the lights.
We were delighted to work closely with a fellow photographer, Maryann, at The Studio Loft, specializes in taking photographs of newborn babies and pregnant mothers. In one of our hearty conversation, Maryann shared with us the time split between being at work, snapping photographs and being not available at home to take care of her two young growing boys. It brought back memories of my lonesome childhood when I was left home alone most of the time; my mind seemed taken up with reminiscences of my independent and carefree growing up days.
Taking pictures of babies and kids are no easy task! They have unusually short attention span. Luckily, our past experiences of handling photography of kids had taught us a much-needed booster- a heavy breakfast energy meal!!
Some are just born with talent! They will act and sing and brought us much laughter.
While others were shy and needed an extra hand.
One of our challenging scenes was to get the right position for the baby. We were thankful that baby Lauren did not cry a bit! And we managed to get the shot needed. Kudos to our helpful assistants and our highly supportive mother! And to our ‘superb’ young talent as well!
The sessions were fun-filled especially for one of the sessions where we had a ‘soldout concert’ audience giving support to our ‘stars’. I was especially encouraged by the creativity and support each parent has given to the success of 2013 calendar photo shoot!
Well, and to all my young and cuttie pie, below says it all. Thanks for partnering with ANX on a journey that we will never forget!
